What personal data we collect and why

We only process the personal data you provide to us yourself.

Contact form

When you fill in the contact form, we process the following data:

• first and last name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• the subject of your enquiry;
• the content of your message.

Your submission is stored in our website’s database (via our form software) and is also emailed to us. When you submit, technical information such as your IP address and browser details may also be recorded.

Purpose: we use this data solely to respond to your enquiry, to contact you and, where relevant, to prepare a no-obligation quote.

Legal basis: the processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and to perform that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where no contract results, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server log files

Our hosting provider keeps standard technical log files (such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit). This data is needed for the security, administration and proper functioning of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to track you as an individual.

Cookies

This website only sets functional and strictly necessary cookies required for the site to work properly and to submit the contact form securely. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not share data with advertising networks. No consent is required for these necessary cookies.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. We only share data with parties that help us run this website:

• Hosting provider (Hostinger): our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, which means data may be stored on Hostinger’s servers.
• Contact form: the form runs on our own hosting; submissions are stored in our website’s database and emailed to us. No data is passed to external form services.

How long we retain your data

We keep the data from the contact form no longer than necessary for the purpose for which you provided it. For enquiries that do not lead to an assignment we apply a retention period of 12 months. If your enquiry leads to an assignment, we keep the data for as long as needed to carry it out and for as long as we are legally required to (for example the 7-year tax retention obligation).

What rights you have

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• the right of access to your data;
• the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
• the right to erasure of your data;
• the right to restriction of processing;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to object to the processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@constructionmaastricht.nl. We will respond as soon as possible, and within the statutory period of one month at the latest.

Lodging a complaint

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when our way of working or the applicable legislation changes. The most recent version is always available on this page.
